A porcupine is a mammal. It's a wonderful animal. They live in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. They can be small and weigh about one kilogramme and they can be as big as 90 centimetres and weigh up to 20 kilogrammes. They can be black or grey, and very rarely they can be white.

Porcupines eat mostly plants, vegetables and fruit. Only when they are very hungry they can eat frogs and lizards. They live in forests, valleys, mountains and even in savanna and desert.

A spider has eight legs and many eyes. Spiders can crawl very fast. They can live anywhere. Spiders eat different insects.

Snakes can be very long and fat. They can be short and thin too. Some of them are very poisonous and dangerous for people. They live in forests, deserts, steppes and other places.

A parrot is a bird. Parrots are very beautiful and colourful. They can be big and small. Some of them live with people. But most of them live wildlife in the jungle.

A tiger is a big cat. Tigers are orange with black strips. They are very dangerous for people. They live in savannah. They have many big fangs. They eat other animals.

Bears are big wild animals. They have brown or white fur. They live everywhere. Bears with white fur live in Arctic. They are very dangerous.

A kangaroo lives in Australia. There they live in different places including forests. Kangaroos have strong tail and hind legs. They jump very high, hop quickly on two legs, walk slowly on four legs. They also can swim. Kangaroos can't go backwards. Kangaroos eat grass. They live about 6 years.

A monkey is a funny animal. They also live in warm countries. They eat fruit and vegetables, nuts, berries, some plants. Monkeys can climb trees well.

Rabbits are small wild and domestic animals. They are usually white, black or grey.  They have a short tail and long ears. Rabbits run and jump well.
