Speaker 1: I used to hear many people saying that they have visited the same place

many times and I could never understand why they do that. There are lots of

beautiful places in the world.

But since I visited London, it has become my number one place to visit. I’d like to

come there again and again. I have a dream to celebrate the start of a new year at Mr

Big Ben!

Speaker 2: I love London architecture, especially the magnificent Houses of

Parliament. As for my favourite place, I’m a devotee of the Tower of London with

its history and Beefeaters and ravens.

Speaker 3: I love London! I studied in college there more than 10 years ago. Later I

came there with my children. They loved it too.

Speaker 4: As an American, I was impressed how friendly and helpful Londoners

were. We were trying to find our way to Tower Hill tube station after a lovely day at

the Tower of London. I think I looked confused because a dear lady stopped and

asked, «Are you lost?» I explained my problem and she laughed and said, «Happens

to me all the time.» She pointed the way to the station. She was lovely.
