Mum: A shower? But it's 7 o'clock in the evening. Alex always HAS a shower in the morning.
Molly: That's right. But this evening is different. He IS GETTING ready to go out. So he IS WASHING his hair, too. 
Mum: What? He never WASHES his hair. Well, not on Thursday, anyway.
Molly: Yes, that's true.
Mum: Just a minute. I can hear a strange noise.
Molly: Yes, that's Alex. He IS SINGING in the shower. It's because he's very happy. He asked Ellie to go to the cinema with him, and she said 'Yes'. He LIKES her — a lot!
