What are the main geographical differences between the UK and Russia?

Lets start with they are situated in different places of Europe. In fact, Russia is not only Europe - it's Asia too - so part of Russia is on different parts of the world with UK. The main geographical difference between them is that UK is an island and Russian Federation is on the continent.
