This movie is a teen romantic comedy.It came out in America in 1985. The main character (starring John Cusack), high school student Lane Meyer, is going to commit suicide because of having broken off with his girlfriend, Beth. She preferred Roy Stalin, captain of the ski team, to Lane and he can't overcome his sorrow. Until a French woman student appears in the neighbourhood.The film contains parodies on such genres as thillers, romances, a bit of mafia style. So, it is suitable for almost every viewer who wants to have a rest in the evening and cheer up.
