Minsk is one of the most beautiful and ancient cities of Belarus. Located in the center of the state, the city is its capital.

Was created by the city in 1067. The name of the Minsk received from the name of the river. And the river Menka got its name because residents of the one coast for their livelihoods produced exchange goods with settlers on the other side. For its beauty and place in the sun town had to pass a long history of battles, revolts and wars. But, despite the heavy history, in our days Minsk is growing and thriving. And, in my opinion, the city deserves to be the capital of the Republic of Belarus.
