over sixty people were rescued from the village of Chulmleigh in Devon last night when their homes were flooded. Many homes were damaged and all roads to the village were closed.  There was so much water in some places that two people were evacuated by boat.  Most people from the village were taken to Tiverton and spent the night in a social centre.

1. A car crashed into the back of the bus outside the school yesterday morning.
2. Two passengers were injured and were taken to hospital by ambulance
3. The police came a few minutes later and closed the road
4. The police questioned the car driver and they took his name and address
5. The car was badly damaged and was towed away by a tow truck
