                                              My Favourite TV Show

I cannot say that I like watching TV. In fact I rarely watch it because it takes me a lot of time to study at school and attend our school club. But if I have the opportunity, I love to watch the 'Umnitsy i Umniki' (Clever Girls and Clever Boys) TV programme.

This is a well-known television humanitarian Olympiad for schoolchildren. It is broadcast by Channel One. As far as I know the show appeared in 1992. The author and host of the show is Yuri Vyazemsky. I like to watch teenage boys and girls answer questions from different areas of knowledge - world history, social science, world literature, culture, geography, political science and even diplomacy. I learn a lot of new and interesting facts from their answers. I think this program is for those who have a good memory and a broad outlook. The great thing about the show is that in the finale its winners become students of the MGIMO University right in the studio.

I would like to participate in this program, but I feel that I am not ready yet.
