Cocoa beans are grown in Africa. People pick the beans and put them between banana leaves. They leave them there for several days. Then the beans are dried in the sun. In the factory the beans are cleaned and cooked. Then the beans are crushed to make a sweet liquid. The cocoa is mixed with sugar and butter (milk) and heated. And finally the mixture cools to make chocolate.
