Бәйге – ұлттық ойындардың ішіндегі ең маңыздысы.Жылқы болған жерде бәйге де бар. Қазақ танымында бәйгенің көптеген түрлері бар. Атап айтқанда: аламан бәйге, үдемелі бәйге, айғыр, тай, құнан, жорға жарыс, т.б.Бәйге – біз біле бермейтін этнографиялық мазмұн мен бай дәстүрге ие. Бәйге өткен заманда үлкен-кіші ас-тойларда ұйымдастырылып, даулы мәселелер туындамас үшін бәйгенің билігі беделді ақсақалдарға жүктелген.
