The country on the map is Russia. This where we all live. Nobody can deny the mightiness of our motherland. It's area is about 17 million square km and its population is over 150 million people. It stretches from the Baltic sea to the Pacific ocean, from ice Arctic ocean to warm shores of Black sea.
The landscape varies greatly. You can see mountain ranges as Ural and the Caucasus, Siberian plains, Arctic tundras.
Russia is rich in water resources. The Caspian sea is the largest lake in the world, the Baikal is the deepest. We shouldn't forget about great rivers as Volga.
Russia is rich in mineral resources, especially oil and gas.
