Принято различать два распространенных типа корневой системы: Стержневой и Мочковатый(см.приложение).
Стержневая корневая система характерна для двудольных(но есть свои исключения,приведу в пример Большой подорожник-у него мочковатая корневая система).Особенностью корневой системы является- мощный,хорошо развитый Главный корень.Образована такая система главным и боковыми корнями.
Представители стержневой системы: клен,цикорий,свекла,морковь,одуванчик,дыня.
А Мочковатая корневая система характерна для однодольных.Это система образована боковыми и придаточными корнями,а вот главный корень или плохо развит или совсем отсутствует.
Представители мочковатой системы:овес,ячмень,тюльпан,чеснок,кукуруза.

Следовательно,ответ:
Стержневая: Дыня,морковь,тыква,полынь,горох.
Мочковатая:Лук,кукуруза,рис,овес,камыш.
