My favorite holiday in Russia is New Year.  This holiday celebrated 31th december. On this holiday it is accepted to put a fir-tree in the house and to decorate it. Besides it is accepted to give each other presents. Symbols of new year in Russia is Father Frost with the Snow Maiden. In Russia began tradition before each New year on TV to show a set of "New Year's movies", for example:Gentlemen of good luck,Diamond hand, Twist Of Fate or Happy Bathing! Also in our country before approach of new year the New Year's address of the president who sums up year is on TV broadcast and wishes citizens of good luck in new year. I likes New Year and every year wait this holiday!
