I was going to a restaurant when I ______(notice) a man _____ (follow) me. To my surpraize he ____(enter) the restaurant and ____(speak) to the owner. When i (finish) my meal and (be) about (pay) my bill, I (call) the owner of the restaurant over and (ask) him what the man (want). The owner (be) a little embarrassed by my question and at first (not want) (tell) me. But I (insist). "Well," he say, that man (be) a detective, he follow you because he (think) you (be) a criminal.

I was going to a restaurant when I noticed a man was following me. To my surprise he entered the restaurant and spoke to the owner.

When I had finished my meal and was about paying my bill, I called the owner of the restaurant over and asked him what the man had wanted. The owner was a little embarrassed by my question and at first didn`t want to tell me. But I was insisting. "Well," he say, that man is a detective, he was following you because he thought you were a criminal.
