Левитан всегда рисовал пейзажи. " Золотая осень " - один из них.
На полотне - типичный русский пейзаж : извилистая речка, белые березки с желтыми листьями, земля, покрытая травой. Голубое облачко сходится с лесом. Речка же как бы пересекает картину сверху вниз, открывая для зрителя обзор.
Внимание привлекает березовая роща. Она уже во всех цветах : золотистых, оранжевых, желтых. А трава ,пока еще зеленая, начинает ржаветь. И дома вдалеке еще изумрудного цвета, и роща с правой стороны не собирается терять летний наряд.
Но все же березки в центре картины. Листочки их трепещут на ветру.\, переливаются в солнечном свете.
В пейзаже нет тоски. Наоборот, настроение задумчивое. Осень - золотая. Поражает красотой.
