Страшный ураган срывается, как взбесившаяся лошадь. Небо, воздух и земля заволакиваются густым зловещим мраком. Ревут деревья, трещат ломающиеся ветви, с чертовским грохотом и жалобным стоном падает столетний могучий каштан, выворачивая из земли свое огромное корневище, зарытое в землю. Деревья раскачиваются, нагибаясь до земли. Молния и гром не перестают ни на минуту. Водяные хляби разверзлись точно при потопе.Ничего не видно, кроме тяжёлой, сплошной воды,заслонившей весь горизонт.
