 2. Usually the state department of education  or a state certification     board issues certificates for teaching.
 3. Forty-four of the fifty states require at least the completion of a four-year course as the minimum for the teacher of high school.
 4.The minimum requirement for elementary teaching is a two-year course.
 5.Because of the decentralization of school control concern teachers are emloyed by local districts rather than by the national government.
 6. Unfortunately, the American teachers do not enjoy the absolute security of tenure which teachers of some other countries enjoy.
 7. The more teachers in the USA are women.
 8. The tacher training institutions aren't able to provide sufficient number of fully trained teachers.
 9. Teachers’ certificates are in force only within a given state.
10. The problem of shortage of teaghers hasn't been met by lowering certification standards.
