Закончился жаркий день,рожь на поле,освещённая последними лучами заката, сжата.
Вот-вот уснёт "трава некошенной межи". На небо выплыл красный диск луны,и где-то вдали слышна замирающая песня жницы,уходящей с поля. Настроение у Блока в этот необыкновенный летний вечер прекрасное,умиротворённое:
так и хочется ему вскочить на коня и умчаться "в луговые дали навстречу ночи и луне!".
В этом стихотворении много красочных эпитетов, есть метафоры,сравнения, олицетворение.
