1.  Isidora, Zeb Stump and Luise visited the hut that morning.
2.  Isidora was the first to arrive.
3.  Zeb Stump said to Isidora that Geral was wounded and he had a fever but he would be on his feet in a week.
4.  Luise was jealous because she loved Geral and she thought that Gerald loved Isidora.
5.The two girls exchanged glances of suprise (Luise)  and anger (Isidora).  Isidora was the first to leave the place.
