Cinema is more popular nowadays. And frankly speaking i prefer the second variant. Cinema is more preferable for me, and there are such reasons for it:
- i can go to the cinema whenever i want
- great varieties of movies
- it costs less then to go to the theatre
- movies give me more emotions, because of different supereffects and so on
