Helmut had to pay a1,000 DM fine. He can't to drive for twelve months and after that he has to take
another driving test.
3. Julie Harris of Flimwcit, Sussex had eleven accidents in her Mini Metro Inst year. The last one happened a week ago when she was at some traffic lights and someone crashed into the back ofher car.
Yesterday she painted the car yellow after reading that yellow cars have fewer accidents.
4. Joan Pendleton from Boston, USA, was amazed to see her neighbors drive away with a baby's carrycot on the roof of their car- with their new baby still in it. "We were in a hurry. Ken put the baby on the car roof because he had to open the car door. Then we
drove away, " said the baby's mother, Sandy Bryson.
"We went about a hundred yards down the road and then I turned round the check the baby. That's
when I found that he wasn't there, I screamed at my husband, 'Ken, where's Tommy?"
Fortunately, Tommy was fine. "I don't know how it happened. We were so lucky that he wasn't
hurt, " said Ken.​
