 Ever since he can remember, Nick has wanted to become a vet. "I've always loved animals. When I was about six I had to take my cat, Hector, to a vet for a check up and I think I made my career decision then.
Getting a place on a veterinary science course is very competetive. It's very important to find what's required in advance and to choose the right subjects, Chemistry and biology will help you a get into veterinary school, where you can do qualifications that will allow you to work widely.
Nick is working with a vet consultant at the moment and is planning to get some work experience on a farm. It will help him to develop necessary qualities and get key skills that are important for the future employment.
