Russia is the largest country in the world. It lies in the Easten part of Europe and in the Northen part of Asia - on Eurasia continent.
Russia is washed by the twelve seas and three oceans. There are three main mountain chains in Russia. The Urals separates Europe from Asia.

Moscow is the capital of Russia. It was founded in 1147. The other main big cities are Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Sochi, Rostov-on-Don. People who are fond of old architecture, like to visit such cities as Vladmir, Suzdal, Murom, Ivanovo.

The population of Russia is about 150 million people. The Russian language is the official language of the country. The Russian language is considered to be one of the richest and most complex languages in the world.

There are different types of climate on the territory of Russia. It is very cold in the North even in summer. The central part of the country has mild climate: winters are cold, springs and autumns are warm or cool, summers are hot and warm. On the whole the weather is very changeable.

The populationn of Russia is surprisingly small compared to it's tremendous size, the population is over one hundred and forty two million citizens. Talking about cities, Moscow is the capital of Russian Federation. There are other well known cities such as Saint Petersburg, Sochi, Novosibirsk and Ekaterenburg. The traditional language is Russian although threre are different languages according to where you are. The weather is never the same and can reach from minus sixty degrees celcius in winter  to forty five degrees celcius in the summer. Russia is the greatest place to live in!
