Hayao Miyazaki born in Bunkyo, Tokyo in  January 5, 1941. So, he is 74 years old. Miyazaki is a Japanese film director, producer, screenwriter, animator, author, and manga artist. Miyazaki has attained international acclaim as a masterful storyteller.
Miyazaki never abandoned his childhood dream of becoming a manga artist. His professional career in this medium begins in 1969 with the publication of his manga interpretation of Puss in Boots. Printed in colour and created for promotional purposes in conjunction with his work on Yabuki's animated film.
Miyazaki's films often contain recurrent themes, like humanity's relationship with nature and technology, and the difficulty of maintaining a pacifist ethic. The protagonists of his films are often strong, independent girls or young women.
