Хочется, потому что если слово отвечает на вопрос что делать, пишем с ь знаком, а если что делает, что делается, пишется без ь знака.

Правильно пишется хочется. Для того, чтобы узнать, как правильно пишется, надо поставить вопрос. Если в вопросе есть мягкий знак, значит и в слове есть. Что делается? мягкого знака нет, значит пишется хочется.
