Комахи-друзі - це комахи, які приносять користь рослинам, тваринам, людям. До них можна віднести божу корівку, бджолу.

Комахи-вороги завдають шкоду. Вони можуть кусати, знищувати рослини тощо. Це оводи, тля.

До комах-сусідів можна віднести хатніх павуків та метеликів. Вони мешкають поруч із нами, але не завдають шкоди.
