Там связь грибницы с корнями деревьев. Ну, собственно, тень и влажность.
Гриб всем грибам - такое мнение о нем в народе. Белым его называют потому, что после срезания и при любых способах обработки (сушке, варении, жаренье) мякоть его остается белой.
