A lot of English families have got their own houses, but some peo ple live in flats. There are two floors in the traditional English house: the ground floor and the first floor. People in England like their homes and always show them to their visitors.

There are also some cupboards with plates, cups, glasses, knives, forks and spoons.The study is a small room with bookshelves on the walls. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.
The Blakes love their house and think: “There is no place like home”2.
