Brighton beach was designed by William A. Engeman as a beach resort in 1868 and named Henry C. Murphy and a group of businessmen during a competition in 1878 the Centre of the resort was a great Hotel Brighton (or Hotel Brighton beach), located on the beach in the early modern Avenue Coney island, where you can be reached by rail from Brooklyn, Flebus and Coney island. Hotel Engeman built a Platform Brighton beach for horse racing. The town became the 31st district of the City of Brooklyn in 1894
Brighton beach was renovated due to the high density of population, and the railway has become a modern high-speed Subway line in new York in 1920
In the 1950s, a large part of the population was the second generation Jewish-Americans and survivors of the concentration camps.
Today is still home to many Jews who left the Soviet Union after the 1970s, as well as a lot of non-Jewish immigrants, in particular, Armenians and Georgians, also settled in Brighton beach, and join the already existing Russian-speaking community.
